I went to Rodeo Hole last night Wednesday June 23. The flow was about 9000 cfs and the wave is perfect. The eddy feeds you right into the wave and wave itself is a little bouncy but I could carve and ride the nose. Anybody that is interested in doing this sport please contact me. I have all the equipment to demo out. I also do Stand Up Paddleboard clinics on flatwater, running the river and surf clinics. Please call today and book a trip with Adam on the river.

This is a separate class done at the Leavenworth City Pool, Sunday evenings from 5 - 7 pm. Charge is $10 that goes to the Pool and the instructors all volunteer their time to help you have a positive experience. This ends Aug. 1^st so, don't wait get out there today.

OPENING DAY AT ICICLE RIVER TRAILS

Opening day at the Icicle river trails were awesome. I went skate skiing this morning Friday, December 19 and it was a lot of fun. We need another 6 inches for complete coverage but the groomers did a wonderfull job with what they have to work with.

Tracks were set for classic skiing and the skate skiing was a little slow depending on what wax you have.

We are now renting classic and skate skis as well as snowshoes and Backcountry skis.

BACKCOUNTRY SKIING LEAVENWORTH

Backcountry skiing in the Cascades is one of the most untapped resources in the lower 48 states. In the Leavenworth area we have the Icicle Canyon and Highway 2 corridor. The geology gives us perfect access to steep couloirs or hippy powder runs right from the car. You can literally step out of your car and start gaining vertical which means that you can ski maximum vert. right to the cold six pack stashed in the car.

At Leavenworth Mountain Sports we have a full service Backcountry Ski department. Anything you need from skins, skis, probes, avalanche beacons not to mention the line of skis from Black Diamond, K2 and Karhu.

We are excited to debut Black Diamond's new alpine touring and telemark boots this season. LMS rents all of the equipment we sell. For around $45 you can demo skis, skins and boots before you buy. We will refund any rental fee with the purchase of that item.
