The major rapids in the Tumwater are still great, yes it is bony eleswhere. The water is crystal clear and the salmon are packed in. The month of September is my favorite month ecept for HIGH WATER because of the perfect weather we have this time of year.
If you have been wanting to run the Tumwater for years, now is the time to come.
